Helen Marriner

Helen Marriner is a Graduate Engineer at WSP and one of ICE President Professor Jim Hall's Future Leaders. She began her career as an Engineering Trainee at Cadenza Transport Consulting, where she gained hands-on project experience while completing her academic studies. Helen graduated with a MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol in 2023. Over the past 7 years, Helen has worked on a diverse range of rail infrastructure projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design for local and national governments. She has also been involved in social value initiatives, project and design management, and has supported an expert witness. Currently, with the ICE President’s Future Leaders scheme, Helen is focusing on research projects which explore: infrastructure resilience through asset management and the delivery of long-term social value.
