James provides strategic leadership for Kier Transportation – Highways. His remit includes a maintenance portfolio of contracts managing over 21,000km of local authority and strategic roads across the UK. James’ portfolio also encompasses major projects, overseeing enhancements and renewals, such as the M6 Lune Gorge Bridge scheme and A417 Missing Link. 

James has extensive experience of leading highways teams and an understanding of the issues that asset owners face when delivering a project. He harnesses the importance of good culture in his teams and partnerships and has built strong and strategic client relationships.
