Norwegian investment targets UK EV charging infrastructure market

Elmtronics, one of the UK’s leading electric charging companies and charge point installers, has been acquired by Norway’s Mer, which aims to strengthen its position in the UK “to create the best and most customer-oriented EV charging experience”.

Mer is owned by Norway’s state-owned Statkraft which is Europe’s largest renewable energy producer.

Elmtronics will start rebranding as Mer pending approval of customary authorities expected later this month.
