Keltbray’s former infrastructure division rebrands as AUREOS
Keltbray Infrastructure Services has renamed and rebranded to AUREOS. The rebrand follows the firms acquisition last summer by private equity firm EMK Capital.
The AUREOS Infrastructure Group primarily focuses on the energy, rail and highways sectors. The business was initially established by Keltbray in 2009 with the acquisition of Gamble Rail.
The name, which is close to the Italian and Roman words for gold, is said by EMK Capital to represent “a new dawn” and “reflects the company’s ambition to deliver sustainable energy and transport networks that support the transition to a low carbon future whilst improving societal connectivity.”
Darren James, CEO, AUREOS, said, “This is an important time in the evolution of our company. As AUREOS we commit to all our stakeholders to always strive to be their first choice as ‘The leading infrastructure engineering services provider for the energy security and decarbonised transport sectors.
“I am particularly pleased with the engagement of our extended team in choosing the new company name as we enter the next exciting phase of growth.”
Before the divestment, Infrastructure was Keltbray’s biggest business activity, with a turnover of around £400m annually and employing 1,400 people.
Keltbray will continue to operate in ground engineering, demolition, sub and super structure work as well as construction plant under the Keltbray name.
